When I paint outdoors, I like to focus on the little details. The white foam on top of a wave, a pretty-coloured leaf dancing in the wind or a cheerful bird swaying on a branch. I like painting these details, and I have found that the colours are especially beautiful around sunset. I use a weather app to know the exact time of the sunset at my location, so I know how much time I have to paint. You can get it on Google Play if you plan to do the same.

Sunrise might be also a good hour for these colours, but I am too lazy to get up that early!
